Boodam Wa Hastam is the first release from the self titled "Boodam Wa Hastam" CD of Najibullah Mahmoudi, which was released late in 2008. The song was composed, arranged, recorded and mastered in Barbud Music's Kabul Studios, so it is a totally Afghan production. The CD was printed in Dubai, UAE, to Barbud's international standards.

Farida Tarana is one of the most popular faces in Afghanistan thanks to her successful performance in Season 2 of Afghan Star. Qalbam Fedayat is her first single and is composed by Nazir Khara and created by Barbud Music.
Farida Tarana, daughter of Haji Abdul Wahed, was born in Herat in 1982. She was very young when forced to migrate to neighbouring Iran. She went to a school in Iran at the age of 7 and finished her year 12 in 2002. For three years, she was a director of the Khwaja Abdullah Ansari NGO, which is one of the larger cultural and educational institutions for Afghans in Meshad, Iran. She has always been interested in music from a young age, and when she was 12, she studied music with Jalil Delahang (an Afghan musician) for a period of 2 years.
Parwez Aliyar is an Afghan artist who had his first release in 2007 and this is his second song to be released. The song was composed by his brother, Bashir Ahmad Aliyar and was recorded and arranged at Barbud's Kabul studios.
